Terms & Conditions:
The $70 stall hire fee paid includes GST, insurance, advertising, trestle table and a chair. By paying the stallholders fee, you have read the Terms & Conditions of Take 2 Markets and agreed to them.
* A stall consists of one trestle table (approx 75cm x 180cm) and one chair. Please ensure that your merchandise stays within your allocated space.
* Extra chairs are available at each venue. Please DO NOT bring card/trestle/any additional tables, chairs or shelving. No carpets, rugs, candles or aromatherapy burners.
Garment racks: Take 2 Markets does not hire or supply garment racks. Single rail garment racks please - no longer than 1.5m. No round racks please.
IMPORTANT: Due to space restrictions at Northcote Town Hall there is provision for 1 garment rack per stall only. You can have two garment racks and no table if you prefer.
Geelong West - two single rail garment racks per stall allowance.
Stallholders can sell: Quality women's second-hand, new, near-new and vintage clothing, footwear and accessories. Makeup must be brand new and in packaging. Used perfume is allowed.
Business Stalls : Business stalls will not be considered without prior contact. Please contact us if you are a designer wishing to sell your own clothing, accessories, fragrance or makeup.
Please email images and descriptions of your product (s) - no bigger than 1mb please. Please note we are not an expo, so you will need to have product to sell on the day.
Please note that even though you may have booked and paid for a stall - your application is not automatically accepted. Take 2 Markets reserves the right to reject any bookings.
Take 2 Markets presents a fantastic opportunity for brand awareness and connecting with your target demographic. Businesses can also receive great exposure via our social media and marketing database. What we look for: - Fashion or products which are female specific
- Items which are stylish and of excellent quality
- Designers who present their stall beautifully
What we don’t want:
Mass produced items, cheap imported stock, old or damaged stock, party plan or wholesale clearance stock.
Stallholders can not sell: Take 2 Markets is strictly women's wear & accessories only. Absolutely no men’s or children’s or baby wear. No bric-a-brac. No used make up. No sportswear, no used swimwear or underwear. Fake or knock off merchandise is illegal and prohibited to sell at Take 2 Markets. Any stallholder selling knock offs will be asked to remove them, and will not be permitted to trade at Take 2 Markets in future.
Please also note the following banned sales, substances and activities:
Food (including fruit, jams etc.) or beverages of any kind, animals, cut flowers, poisonous products, prescription medications, illegal or offensive items, firearms, ammunition, explosives, weapons or dangerous goods of any kind, cigarettes/alcohol/drugs and illegal drug-related products, the sale of lottery, art union or raffle tickets, the conducting of any guessing game, lucky dip, chocolate wheel, side-show, competition, or game of chance is prohibited. Stallholders may not sell anything that may leak or contain fluids, nothing that may cause damage by being dragged across floors, no items that have legal restrictions upon their sale or disposal.
Refund policy: No refunds or market date transfers. If you are unable to attend your booked market stall, you may transfer your booking to a friend or relative. Please notify us immediately of any changes to your stall booking.
Market cancellation: Should a Take 2 Market be cancelled due to reasons of emergency, danger, weather conditions, disasters, safety, health concerns, or other reasons that are not in reasonable control of the Take 2 Market organisers (as deemed by the Take 2 Market organisers), then stallholders will not receive a refund of their stall hire paid.
Advertising, promotional materials, flyers, etc: All stallholders may hand out advertising or promotional material at their designated stall. The advertising/promotional material may only relate to the products on sale at that stall. Stallholders and their representatives are at no time permitted to distribute advertising or promotional material outside of their stall area (i.e. walking around the venue and handing out flyers and placing flyers under car windscreens). A breach of this condition will result in the stallholder being requested to leave the venue.
Security: Stallholders are responsible for their own stall security and monies. No responsibility is taken by the organisers for theft, loss or damage.
Safety: The stallholder is responsible for the safety of their stall, and agrees to set up items in a safe and secure manner to avoid any mishaps.
Opening & closing time: Stallholders are to setup from 8.30am until 9.30am . Stallholders will not be admitted into the venue until 8.30am. Please check in at the front desk so we know you have arrived. You must arrive by 9.15 to have adequate time to prepare. The market hours are 10am to 3pm. Please wait for an announcement before commencing any packing up.
Shopping before 10am: As a stallholder you are there to sell your goods, however we understand that temptation is all around and you may wish to shop. Please shop after 10am when the market opens to the public. There will be enough bargains for everyone.
On-selling of items: It is STRICTLY PROHIBITED to buy goods from a stallholder and then on-sell it to the public for a profit on market day or any other market day. This is against the principle of Take 2 Markets and stallholders doing this will be asked to leave immediately.
Floors: When carrying your goods in & out of the venue, please ensure that you are not dragging items across the floor. Any damage or scratching to the floor will result in the stallholder having to pay for the re-surfacing of the floor.
Signage: Stallholders can stick up signs on the walls using Blu Tac only. Please take your signage down at the end of the day.
Change Rooms: There are change room facilities at Take 2 Markets.
Exit Doors: Please ensure all exit doors are kept clear at all times.
Rubbish: Please place all your rubbish and recycling in the bins provided. Leave your stall area the way you found it.
The boring bit: Take 2 Markets shall not be responsible for the compliance by a stallholder with any By-law, Regulation, Act or Statute. Take 2 Markets accepts no responsibility for any transaction entered into in the Market enclosure. Take 2 Markets will not refund stall hire fees paid in the case of cancellation of market due to factors out of our control. Take 2 Markets reserves the right to decide or arbitrate any dispute arising out of or in the course of the conduct of the Market. Take 2 Markets reserves the right to refuse admission to the Market to any person without giving any reason for the same and to eject or cause to be ejected any person and /or his/her goods and chattels without giving any reason for the same. Take 2 Markets Market accepts no liability for the loss or damage of any kind suffered by any person who enters the Market area and all persons who enter the Market area do so at their own risk. The stallholder agrees to indemnify Take 2 Markets against all claims for damages or injury to the property or person of any persons in respect of any claim by any such person arising out of negligence on the part of the stall holder or his agents.
